DATOS Computer AG  - Software Developer

Founded in 1980 by Walter Götschi (Dipl. Ing. ETH) DATOS Computer AG developed the first paper tape-editor for NC-programs. Shortly after, the first fully integrated NC-solution for industrial computers based on DOS was designed, which included a graphic NC-editor, simulation, and tool management. In co-operation with the many enthused users, the DATOS engineers developed the software into a groundbreaking tool for CNC-machining suited for European SMB.
